Work with us - Freelance

In addition to its in-house staff, Intrawelt® is constantly looking for professionals to add to its group of freelance translators and interpreters for various language combinations and specialisations. To submit your application, please follow the procedure below. Please register to create a freelance account as a translator and/or interpreter, to access our database and upload your details. After creating an account you will receive an email notification with a link redirecting you to our translator and interpreter database. Once you have filled in the form, your data will be analysed by our Human Resources Department who will decide whether to accept your application. You can access and change your details at any time, providing they have not yet been confirmed by our Human Resources staff. Any changes you make after confirmation must be agreed with our Human Resources Department.

Work with us - In-house

We're always looking for professional translators and interpreters specialized in specific sectors in a variety of language combinations. The following positions are currently available:

  • German-Italian In-house Translator/Project Manager (Italian native speaker)
  • Traduttore in-house italiano-inglese (madrelingua inglese)
  • Project Manager in-house inglese-italiano (madrelingua italiano)
  • Trainees from the Faculty of Translation and Linguistic Mediation

Job description (except trainees):

  • Place of work: Porto Sant'Elpidio (Fermo), Italy.
  • Management and coordination of translation projects in collaboration with a team of in-house translators and external freelancers
  • Management and processing of terminology databases
  • Creation and development of relations with clients (analysing needs, presentation, preparing commercial offers, etc.)
  • Cost control (budgets, analysing effective project costs, billing, etc.)
  • Provision of support to the commercial team as regards marketing
  • Opportunities for growth within the company

Requirements (except trainees):

  • Degree in translation and/or equivalent, or at least 5 years' proven experience in the translation industry
  • Efficiency and understanding of translation project management
  • Excellent organisation and planning of work time
  • Team spirit
  • Attention to detail and excellent reading and writing skills
  • Excellent knowledge of software tools, including Microsoft office, SDL-Trados, Adobe Acrobat and preferably desktop publishing programs.

Trainees are accepted on the basis of agreements with Universities and will work alongside an expert in-house translator.
